Day 1: The Journey Begins

Today the journey to the other side of the world being. Alex and I had a tremendous night last night celebrating our marriage with some of closest family and friends. In case you didn’t know, we have chosen to venture to the exciting destinations of Singapore and Thailand. Over the next 2 weeks we will be seeing, tasting, and smelling (durian) new and wonderful things. Our goal is to obviously to keep social media updated.

Leg 1: SAT to LAS

Our first set of flights has us leaving from our home in San Antonio and staying in Las Vegas for a short lay over. If you didn’t know, this is not that exciting for Alex and I because we have both been here a BUNCH. Specifically Alex has been here 11 times in the past 18 months, and during my college years I have racked up 26 visits. So, there isn’t anything here that is new to us. Despite this, Alex and I had to try out luck at a slot machine. Unfortunately we did not multiply our money in any way and have further funded this city.

Leg 2: LAS to SFO
